How Do You Write a Blog?

Writing a blog post online is a bit different what you write everyday. Writing a post online needs research because you have to write keeping search engines in mind. There are few things you need to understand before starting your blog post. If you are a beginner then I would suggest you to read blogs on high authority blog websites like Problogger, johnchowdotcom. They are established and write what is exactly needed.

Here are few points before creating and writing a blog post:-

1. Topic or Niche - Topic should be in a particular niche. Niche means what is your central theme of the blog. If you will keep writing blog in a niche, you will gain credibility among visitors and they would like to visit again and again on your website and will subscribe to you.
2. Keyword Research - Now you need to search for keywords. Keywords means the main words that you are going to use in your post. There are millions of websites on the internet, so to keep coming on search engine page result, you need to include more related keywords according to your topic. You can use Google Adwords and Wordtracker for searching the keywords.
3. Use an Image- Image says a thousand words. Write your post and include a related image so that visitors can understand directly what your post is all about.
4. No. of Words - You post should be at least more than 400 words. So that you can give all the informational content to your audience.
5. Make it easy to Scan - Make you post in short paragraphs. Do not write long paragraphs. Make it numbered , pointed or bulleted. So that you traffic should able to understand and scan the post easily.
6. Content is King - If your article or the post is relevant and provides great content to the visitor then they would like to visit, bookmark and share your posts on social networking websites.

These are very key points which will greatly helpful in writing your blog posts. After writing , promote you blog to facebook, twitter,Digg and other social networking websites for immediate feedback of people.
